Passive prosthetics

A prosthetic leg restores mobility at the resolution the operator’s motor modelling already runs. It does not extend the architecture past what the biological leg did. The modelling integrates it at the rate control has always operated.

A cochlear implant restores hearing at a rate the auditory architecture can process. Integration may take time and recalibration. It holds.

A pacemaker runs below the modelling’s resolution altogether. The substrate integrates it. The operator’s loop continues without having to register it.

Clean at the test. The corridor widens. Control keeps pace. Maintenance.
